Hey Guys! Welcome back to another monthly favourites! As usual I am going to talking about my usual obsessions of the month including skincare, beauty and what I have been watching on TV. Enjoy!

La Roche-Posay - Effaclar Purifying Cleansing Gel

I have been loving this cleanser from La Roche-Posay it is specially created for oily/sensitive skin and it is brilliant in everyway. It is gentle yet effective and it really helps acne prone skin. It is also very strong and can take off a full face of water proof products. This is a new holy grail product!

Tarte - Gifted Mascara

I love most of Tarte's products especially there mascaras, I have tried a few in the past and they never dissapoint. This masacara stood up fully to my expectations. They leave your lashes long, fluttery and natural looking. Personally, I like "va-va-voom" mascaras but as a natural looking option this is perfect!

I do not wash my hair everyday. It is so bad for you and after having my hair more natural recently I have noticed how damaged the straighteners have left my hair. My hair is often oily so inbetween washes I love using this. I believe that quality wise it is on par with Batiste but I find the fragrances are a lot more "grown up" which is always good.

This line of dry shampoos was created by Youtuber and Blogger Ruth Crilly. You can check out her website here.

Givenchy - Amarige

Speaking of scents this is the perfume that I have been wearing and loving recently. After stumbling across this in my drawer I fell in love with this all over again. It is a very old fragrance and some may call it "mature" but I love it, to me it smells sexy and intelligent and thats exactly what I want in a perfume!

There has been a lot of controversy about weight loss teas recently and I am torn. I feel everything is okay in moderation. I think teas like this can help if you are feeling sluggish and bloated and again used very carefully. I got the 14 day teatox and what this basically does is to cleanse your digestive system. I have a lot of stomach problems so this for me was really good to try. I think it is also good to start of a diet this way as it should help to keep you motivated!

You guys must think I am obsessed with John Green... Well, I am. This is the most recent book of his and David Levithan that I have read and follows two boys with the same name but very different lives crossing paths in a porn store (of all places) there lives intertwine and the story ends with a brilliantly gay musical. It is funny, it is eye opening and shows the struggles of young boys in love. It is a great and addictive read.

I have been obsessed with this show since I found it on Youtube and watched the whole series straight away. This is a comedy show / reality show based on Nicole Richies life. I love how quick witted she is, I swear that this will have you stomach laughing throughout!

It's Nice That

For a designer this is an obvious choice to me, but for anyone who is interested in art and design this is a great resource of cool and unique art to keep you inspired throughout the day. I have been reading this website for about three years now and I love it.

I hope that your enjoyed this months favourites. As usual please follow me on all of the usual social media to keep upto date with what I am doing and make sure to check back often for updates!

  1. I've been wanting to try the La Roche-Posay for such a long time now, especially now seeing as my skin keeps breaking out!
