Hey guys! Today I am going to be telling you about my favourites for the month of May. This month has gone way too fast for me and I was shocked when I had to start planning for this months favourites. I have a lot of exciting things to tell you about this month so I hope you enjoy!

Rimmel - Light Matte BB Cream (£4.85)
It's always important to wear SPF no matter what the weather is. This month I have been loving this matte BB cream from Rimmel that moisturises and protects the skin while still giving great coverage and matching my fair skin perfectly.

Urban Decay - Naked Illuminated (£31.00)
This is a rediscovery for me, I bought this a while back and I will only wear this during the warmer months as it has it's a highlighter with shimmer in it. During Autumn and Winter it is too much for me, but in the Spring and Summer months I am always wearing it.

The Body Shop - Tea Tree Facial Toner (£7.25)
I have been loving this new toner this month. It has helped to calm down my skin and also helps get rid of any excess makeup or oil that my cleanser has missed. I have always sworn by The Body Shop products whenever my skin has a bad spot and this has impressed me yet again.

Lush - Mint Julips Lip Scrub (£5.50)
I have been experimenting more with lip products this month. I noticed that having a smooth canvas to apply my lip products onto really helps them to stay put for longer. This lip scrub from Lush buffs away any dead skin from the lips and leaves them feeling lovely, plus you can lick it off after and it tastes amazing.

VO5 - Heat Protect Styling Spray (£7.99)
I use heat on my hair almost every other day to get ready for work, so I need a good heat protector. I usually get the Tresemme Heat Protector but after trying this out I love it just as much. It smells amazing and leaves your hair looking so healthy after using it.

Starbucks - London Mug
It is no secret that I am obsessed with Starbucks, and a weird fact about me is I collect Starbucks mugs... Yep... I have two New York Mugs and now this beautiful London mug. I don't drink anything out of them, I just leave them to look beautiful in my room. Which may be odd, but I love it.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (£4.49)
This book aimed at teenagers is a fiction book that works alongside the creepy photography inside. All of the photos (including the front cover) are real vintage photography. The story is about a teenage boy who after his sudden grandfather's death goes on a journey to try and find the place that he grew up in and the people that he met. This is a easy read and a page turner, it's creepy, funny and has a great ending - I loved it!

Once Upon A Time
I will have to jump on the band wagon with this series, both Zoella and Essie Button have both mentioned this series recently and there is a good reason why. It's amazing and very addictive. Once Upon A Time is based on fairy tale characters that have been taken out of their own world and put into ours. Both the storyline and the cast is amazing and you can watch it easily on Netflix.

Carly Rae Jepsen - I Really Like You
Okay, so guilty pleasure time. This song has been in my head for almost the whole of this month, and I admit that I have loved it. It's fun and catchy and it makes me want to dance around my room like a 13 year old. Plus the video has Tom Hanks in it. Instant Win.

Meridian - Natural Peanut Butter (£4.99)
I have been eating this so much recently, I usually spread it on apple slices for a snack or dessert. It tastes so amazing and it's healthy for you. It is all natural peanut butter with the only ingredient is peanuts which is very impressive. If you are a fan of regular peanut butter I highly recommend this.

I've known about this typeface for a while, as a display typeface this is great to draw attention from your audience. The examples of how this font can be used are stunning and I love the idea of laser cutting this and maybe even foil embossing it too! As there is a lot of detail in the font, I would be careful of overusing it, but in the right amounts this creates impact and looks beautiful.

Khan Academy
I have mentioned a few times how I am teaching myself to code. I have a full time job, I am training for a 5k, I like my social life and I run this blog too. So as well as doing all those things I have been slowly been teaching myself to code in whatever free time I get.

I have done a couple of courses and whilst I can fully read HTML and CSS and I can edit them I want to get to the point where I can sit down and without looking up anything, just write the language off the top of my head, which thanks to this lovely website I am starting to do.

Maireem is a 21 year old graduate from Texas. Her lifestyle blog is "meant for those who believe in the person they want to become, and for those who aren't afraid to be strange, awkward, sarcastic and, nerdy." Maireem does makeup reviews, lifestyle posts and a Game of Thrones series which I think you will all love. This is all packaged together in a beautiful and minimalistic site which appeals to the designer in me. If you're looking for a new blogger to check out, I highly recommend her.

I hope you enjoyed this months favourites! Let me know in the comments what you have been loving this month, or if you have tried any of the things I have mentioned!
